Mammootty’s “Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam”

Just would like to share a few surprising elements in the film:

Tamil & Malayalam both languages have been honoured in the title card.

Second,

In the beginning they show a #Thirukural which indicates the crux of the story.

Third,

Kalaignar’s Free TV.

Yes..The movie shows the Color TV given by Kalaignar in 2007-2009 to almost all the families of Tamil Nadu.

The TV has been used as one of the very important set properties rather a character in the movie.

And additionally..The whole Background score of the movie played by the TV itself.

Hats off to the director for such a noble idea.

Apart from the story,This movie parallelly shows that how Kalaignar’s Free TV is an unavoidable& inseparable part of Tamil People’s life.

Director Lijo’s brilliant way of story telling and direction opening a new door for Indian film making.

Hats off to Actor Mammootty for choosing this film to act & produce.In the whole of India only Mammootty has the guts to act or produce such a film.All actors supportive artist technicians given their best and this movie will live in people heart beyond centuries.
